The power quality recorder used is a power analyser for highly accurate recording and evaluation of the power quality in electrical power supply networks and also offers special algorithms and functions for energy management applications. The device ensures the continuous recording and thus analysis of all relevant parameters. The results help to define and implement appropriate measures to ensure the quality of supply. This increases the service life of the operating resources while reducing downtimes.
// Technical features
In the event of a deviation from the individually set standard parameters, the Quality Box uses a BasisBox to transmit the measured values to the artificial intelligence specially developed by the Siemens PTi department, which has been trained with historical data from the network analysis department for all network faults known to it. If an event occurs at the customer’s premises that triggers the set triggers, the collected event data is checked by the AI and, in the case of irregularities, examined in more detail by experts from the network analysis department.
In this way, optimal protective measures can be developed.
// The role of BentoNet
We supply the PQ meter as a module ready for installation and an associated gateway module for data transmission. The BentoNet infrastructure establishes a secure connection between the Siemens PTI and the customer’s measurement and provides a global down- and upload of the measurement data when an event is detected by the meter. The measuring device is set up remotely via secure maintenance access by Siemens PTi in coordination with the specialists on site to ensure error-free measurement.
